Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe

Came here on a weekday morning within a few mins of opening and there were about 3-4 people ordering, so this place is popular!

I decided to give this place a try after I saw they offer gluten free scones. I grabbed tone sweet and one savory- lemon blueberry and the cheddar chive. I also ordered an iced coffee.

They used a fresh glove to grab my gluten free scones. There are some tables inside to sit at, but I took mine to go. They also sell a variety of merchandise- shirts, bags,stickers, etc.

Not sure how much the "regular" pastries and donuts are, but mine were about $5 each, which is reasonable for gluten free.

I visited for lunch and really enjoyed the space/ambiance with comfortable seats, great decor, and plenty of space.

I can't speak about their baked goods or coffee, but I thoroughly enjoyed their smoothies! I also had the Cubano sandwich, which I found to be quite greasy and the taste was okay.

The service is fast, but be wary around lunchtime as the Amazon workers in the buildings nearby flock here.

A bit on the expensive side, this chain is a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the weather in Ballston on a sunny morning. It's usually pretty crowded on weekends and they offer a variety of menu items from coffee to donut/other pastries to sandwiches.

There's some seating inside and also some seating outside which I believe are both first come first serve.

The donuts here are really good especially the variety of cake donuts. I'm so used to seeing an old fashioned/classic cake donut and nothing else but at Good Company I've seen a chocolate chip cake donut and cherry blossom donut during cherry blossom season which was really lovely and not overpoweringly cherry flavored.

I do have to say the coffee was not the greatest. I've gotten a few different types of coffees and even a matcha over my multiple visits but I haven't been impressed thus far. For the price point I would say skip the coffee.

Not the first time I've been to Good Company and likely not the last. They make amazing donuts. They blow me away every time. I had the lemon filled donut this morning, and it was killer! With a side of breakfast potatoes and some juice and I was ready to catch my flight home. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've purchased multiple dozens for work events from them, and the staff is easy to work with on big orders and small. The location is always busy, but never feels stuffy. There are a number of tables in the light-filled space. I've never been there later in the day, but they also offer what looks to be a big selection of libations. If you're in Arlington, definitely make a stop at Good Company!

I'm surprised this place has gotten a hype,it has gotten. I thought it was extremely overpriced. For one small donut it was 2.75. in addition, it was not the gourmet for it to be that expensive. Also, the service was not good. I didn't really feel like they wanted to really help you. Also, the menu was so confusing there was specials and there was also a menu and the smaller donuts that didn't even have any labels on them. And the donuts were not even fresh. The coffee was the birthday coffee Latte I was not a big fan. It felt way too sugary. You could barely taste the birthday cake cake, part of it and it also tasted kind of chemically. The place is a fast casual place in ballston.

Left here over with over $50 worth of donuts but I don't regret it.
Went in to grab some donuts for the office for Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras). Had to order a dozen of their specialty donuts because they all sounded so good. Threw in a couple sprinkled for fun, and could not skip the passion-fruit flavor King Cake Donut. That little baby Jesus on there is not lying as he calls out to you.
As she was taping up my box, I noticed the minis... too cute to resist, so I got a half dozen of those.

Everyone in the office said they were so good... I had two myself but definitely could had the box at my desk...

I went to Good Company Doughnut recently because I read they have the best doughnuts in the DC Metro area. As a doughnut connoisseur I tend to agree. This is in terms on quality and customer service. Of course you have the Astro and District Doughnut shop but there is something about this place that differs. Parking is difficult but worth it. I got 4 doughnut from their amazing and wide variety of choices. Another reason why this place is better, other doughnuts shops have 4-7 options while the Good Company has dozens. Probably the highlight is my weekend. I look forward to going back.

Love love loved the donut I had today - I'm not vegan but a Black Forest fan so I had to go for the vegan Black Forest donut. You could never tell that's it's vegan - absolutely delicious and not too sweet. Texture was amazing. I'll have to go back for a non vegan option!

They have both yeast donuts and cake donuts so be sure to ask which are which when ordering - I recommend yeast. They had a wide selection of flavors, and I'm sure there are even more if you go first thing in the morning.

I've also tried the old fashioned donut, as that's usually my go-to donut flavor, and it wasn't my favorite - the texture and flavor just didn't hit the mark for me, which is why I opted for one of their other flavors this time around.

They also serve other breakfast items and coffee - they have some really interesting seasonal offerings (I saw cardamom lattes and beet lattes on the menu!).

We stopped by for a quick breakfast. This place is warm and welcoming.

Although it was quite busy when we stopped by, we were able to order and receive our food pretty quickly.

We tried the classic breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese and the Murphy (without bacon).
Both were delicious. The Murphy was the standout with the pesto.

Overall a good stop for grab and go breakfast.

Came here on a Sunday AM. Be ready for lines going out the store but they move pretty quick. Tried their breakfast italian sandwich and was pretty tasty. The bread was nice and tasty. Although not sure I'd get it again. Tried the avocado toast and was also really good. The doughnuts were also tasty. Overall would recommend.
